For sure don't give up yet. It's super early for a pee stick. The time I got pregnant I didn't even get a positive pee stick on 10p3dt. Keep hoping, we're all rooting for you. Good luck!
Hang in there Jules, I trust your instinct but I am holding my hope anyway-- I want for you to be pleasantly surprised. I'm sorry you did not get that surprise today! maybe soon, take care, kate
November 2009- IVF #1 Retrieval of 6 eggs on Nov. 13. 5 mature and 4 fertilized. 3dt of 2 8 cell embies on Nov. 16. BFP on hpt at 9dp3dt! Beta no. 1 at 14 dpo 68; Beta no 2 at 17 dpo 209; Beta no. 3 at 21 dpo 1820.
First u/s: December 9, 2009. One yolk sac with fetal pole measuring at 2.07 mm measuring on time at 5w5d.
Second u/s: December 16, 2009. We have a heartbeat. Fetal pole measuring 5.87 mm, measuring 2 days behind at 6w3d.
Third u/s (per spotting... grrrr): December 18, 2009. Heartbeat 136 bpm. 9.83 mm, measuring on time at 7w0d.
Fourth u/s: December 28, 2009. Heartbeat 176 bpm. 19.87 mm, measuring one day ahead at 8w4d.
October 2009- Insurance approval for IVF and start bcps
September 2009- Insurance issues as the company wants more testing to make sure we can't get pg without IVF. Well, let's think about that.... the sperm do not travel and thus, cannot reach the egg. Perhaps we could do a gazillion IUI, but the second SA is not so good. We qualify for one cycle of IVF and ICSI. Testing for sleep apena is negative.
August 2009- Bye-bye tonsils (easy surgery but rough recovery!). Perhaps have sleep apnea.
July 2009- Dh becomes employed again (whooohooo! and with IVF coverage for one cycle to boot!); consult with ENT for tonsil removal, who doesn't want to remove the tonsils but put me on long-term antibiotics. Nope, sorry, I've got ivf to do. Asks me "You aren't going to be the octomom, are you?" No, I'm aiming for 9! Duh!
June 2009- Dh still unemployed. Everything on hold; tonsillitis and these tonsils have got to go!
May 2009- Polypectomy through operative hysteroscopy; no lap required. The ole uterus looks good now. Figuring out how to afford IVF; strep throat no. 3.
April 2009- New, wonderful RE. I love you, Dr. K!
March 2009- office hysteroscopy (freaking disaster!); RE finds a polyp and recommends polypectomy and a lap. I fire the RE. Dh finds out he is losing his job in May. :-( strep throat no. 2
February 2009- Normal SA; Clomid challenge test and FSH testing (5.7), HSG (all clear), IUI #1 (3 follies-- bfn); strep throat no. 1
January 2009- 1st appointment with RE starting second infertility journey. Let the fun begin (AGAIN!)
December 2008- Houston, I think we have a problem. The boys don't fly (aka delayed ejaculation).
November 2008- Honeymoon in Italy. Ahhh. Those were the days... Loved Italy... the history... the art... the food... the wine... the scenery. Can we relocate?
October 2008- Married to Dh, "G"; thank you e-Harmony! I'm a lucky girl!
Prior history: Married in 1998 and started ttc right away. 1999 Diagnosis of MFI. I tested normal or could that be "unexplained"? Multiple IUIs and donor sperm IUIs. Moved to interational adoption. Later, divorced in 2006 as a result of mental illness "explosion". 90% of marriages involving bipolarism end in divorce. If only I had know I was marrying into a mental illness history.
I almost don't want to say this, but I really think it's a bit early. I would give it another couple days...good luck!!!
ReplyDeleteIt ain't over yet --- good luck.

ReplyDeleteIt's too early. I only got a faint line at 11dpo, and of course it's two babies. I agree with Nicole, 13dpo sounds about right.
ReplyDeleteThinking of you!

Hope you're wrong, and it's just too early. Precisely why I was too chicken to test this last cycle.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement. It was still negative at 11dpo3dt. Surprisingly, I'm ok with it though.
